Founder and Principal

Although always an entrepreneur at heart, Cynthia dedicated more than a decade to corporate finance and business operations at Fortune 500 companies where she built a reputation for delivering results.

Driven by her true passion, she later joined a fast-growing, mid-sized startup, gaining firsthand experience navigating the complexities of scaling a business.

She is a transformational leader who brings clarity to complex challenges. Known for her collaborative approach and commitment to authentic relationships, she partners with founders and executives to align financial strategy with business vision.

She launched Shynvi to combine her passion for innovation, technology, and helping others succeed, offering forward-thinking financial leadership to growing businesses and those experiencing challenges or change.

Cynthia holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a B.S. from Bradley University, and the Certified Turnaround Analyst (CTA) designation through the Turnaround Management Association.

Based in Chicago, she’s a proud dog mom who enjoys climbing, bowling, and exploring the city with her pups.
