Cynthia Smith

CEO and Founder

Although always an entrepreneur at heart, Cynthia dedicated more than a decade to corporate (Fortune 500 companies), across finance and business operations. Driven by her true passion, she then gained experience at a growing mid-sized start-up.

She is a transformational leader and takes a collaborative approach to problem solving, building relationships based on authenticity and trust.

In addition to advancements in financial technology, Cynthia enjoys creating, innovating, and helping others succeed. She started Shynvi to pursue these not so guilty pleasures.

Cynthia holds a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. degree from Bradley University.

She is a proud dog mom living in Chicago and can occasionally be found climbing, bowling, or taking the dogs for a stroll.
